Assalamulaikum, I’m Zainab Abid, Founder and Director of Educate Cloud.
My journey into Education has been anything but conventional. I started of studying Maths, Physics and Chemistry and having a real passion in these subjects, this led me to studying Biomedical engineering at Kings college London. While at university I began part time tutoring with some leading UK platforms, what began as something to make some extra cash quickly transformed into a real passion. I then went on to complete a L6 Diploma in Teaching and did research into using science backed techniques to make learning more meaningful. I simultaneously starting self studying Arabic and have now achieved an advanced Arabic level by completing various courses.
Since then, i’ve taught in a variety of settings, from supply teaching in the UK to teaching in leading International Schools. My Specialisms are in Maths and Arabic.
I have created Educate Cloud with a simple vision. Education should be more than grades. At Educate Cloud we aim to make learning enjoyable, build confidence and help students develop both academically and personally.
I’m currently completing my Masters in Education while teaching and continuing to grow Educate Cloud Outside of education, I love travelling, developing apps (I’ve co- founded an App called EDeen) and Pilates!
